Sin
“Sin is a fundamental relationship— it is not wrong doing, but wrong being— it is deliberate and determined independence from God.” Oswald Chambers from My Utmost For His Highest, Oct 2nd.

My sins – the things I do that are wrong – aren’t the problem. My sin – my willful, selfish independent nature – is the problem. Sins are merely symptoms of sin. While religion may deal with sins, only Jesus the Christ can deal with sin.
